We have weekday, evening and Saturday Childbirth Education classes available in Millcreek and Downtown Erie. Evening classes are held from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM for four consecutive weeks. Our Saturday classes are held from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM for three consecutive weeks.
You will be eligible to receive a free or discounted Evenflo Titan convertible car seat valued at $85 (based on income guidelines).
A certified childbirth educator will instruct classes and help prepare expectant mothers and their coaches for the labor experience. Call our main office to register for Childbirth Education classes at (814) 836-7505.

The Basic Newborn Care Course is one-on-one or small group classes held for four consecutive weeks that will cover the following areas:
Breastfeeding Basics Class
Becoming a new mother may seem overwhelming. Fortunately, as mothers our bodies are equipped with the ability to provide everything that our growing baby needs nutritionally through breastfeeding.
You will learn:
The many health benefits for baby
Latch and breastfeeding holds
Common breastfeeding problems and remedies
Learn to Earn Program – This program educates young moms and dads in personal development, parenting skills and healthy relationships, while they earn credits to spend for much needed baby items. The program is designed for single parents or couples. Participants learn by watching dynamic and fun educational video lessons on relevant topics. This popular program is available at the WCC Pregnancy Resource offices in Downtown Erie, Upper Peach Street, Union City, and Warren. The goal of the Stepping Stones program is “Building Healthy Families One Step at a Time!”
Baby and Me Tobacco Free Program – WCC in partnership with the Erie County Department of Health, are providing the BABY & ME – Tobacco Free Program™ for pregnant women. The is an evidence based, smoking cessation program created to reduce the burden of tobacco on the pregnant and postpartum population. This program helps moms and babies achieve the best health outcomes by reducing premature births and low birth weights that are associated with maternal smoking. For more info call (814) 836-7505.
